The Strengthening Participatory Organisation (SPO) in collaboration with Chitral Development Network held a ceremony to launch a book titled 'Wafa Ki Nagri' (Valley of Loyalty) here on Monday in a local hotel. The book written by Manzoor Qadir a Chitral-based writer cover culture, civilisation of society and different aspects and traditions of the picturesque district.

The ceremony was attended by writers, intellectuals and scholars. Prominent Lawyer of Chitral Abdul Wali Khan advocate was chief guest on the occasion. The writer of the book Manzoor Qadir shed light on different parts of the book and briefed the participants about its salient features with a view to apprise them about the inspiration and motive of the book.

Prominent poet of Urdu literature and a local based intellectual Saleh Wali Zaad, Khudai Mustafa and Professor Shamsun Nazar Fatimi read their papers and presented thesis on the Novel. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Abdul Wali Advocate appreciated the efforts of the writer and thanked SPO for motivating local people of Chitral for preserving their culture and civilisation besides implementing human rights at Chitral.
